With Gratitude on Thanksgiving

By Stephanie Kohl, Customer Experience Manager

From our families to yours, we wish you a very happy Thanksgiving! Mid-States Concrete Industries is closed today and tomorrow in recognition of the holiday. We hope your Thanksgiving is filled with too much food, too many laughs, and all the people you are thankful for!

Thankful for Family
We have so many things to be thankful for. First and foremost, I am thankful to be mom to the coolest seven-year-old around. To say I’m proud of the person he is becoming is an understatement. He is one of the kindest, sweetest, funniest, most curious kids I’ve ever known. I’m lucky to be on this journey with him.

I’m also so grateful to have a close relationship with my family. From my youngest nephew (who is less than a year old) to my 95-year-old grandpa, I’m blessed to have so many generations in my life.

And I’m thankful for friends who have been in my life for so long, and have become such an important part of my life, that they’re more like family. I recently came across an article about two best friends who built a tiny town for their retirement so they can grow old together, and I know exactly who I would want in my town.

Thankful for Mid-States
Now in my ninth year with Mid-States Concrete Industries, I’m grateful to get to work with such dedicated people who truly enjoy building buildings where people live, work, learn, and play. We help build buildings that make a difference in the communities they are built in, and at the end of the day, isn’t that what everyone wants? To make a difference.

Thankful for Customers
Nothing we do at Mid-States would be possible without the trust of our customers. We are so grateful every day for our customers who trust us to work on their projects. It has been a pleasure working with you this year and we can’t wait to see what you have in store for us in the future.
