The AIA Iowa Fall Convention is slated for Thursday, September 29 and Friday, September 30 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Please stop by Booth 57 and say hello to Troy Yaun, Preconstruction, and Tara Loomis, Senior Structural Engineer! They’ll be giving away some water bottles, tote bags, level pens… and some serious precast knowledge.
The theme of this year’s convention is Advocate! AIA Iowa shared: “As surely as our work is a fundamental part of the world around us, it has the potential to address the many challenges the world faces. Some of these challenges are brand new, while some are generations old and only just now receive the attention they necessitate. This year, we would like to focus on advocacy during our convention, to take on these challenges.”
