The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the voice of the construction industry, is an organization of qualified construction contractors and industry related companies dedicated to skill, integrity, and responsibility. AGC is the nation's largest and oldest construction trade association, established in 1918 after a request by President Woodrow Wilson. Wilson recognized the construction industry's national importance and desired a partner with which the government could discuss and plan for the advancement of the nation. AGC has been fulfilling that mission for the last 85 years.

AGC is dedicated to improving the construction industry daily by educating the industry to employ the finest skills, promoting use of the latest technology and advocating building the best quality projects for owners--public and private. Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute of Illinois & Wisconsin
Our goal is to promote, educate, and provide precast resources to the design, engineering, real estate and construction professionals and students.

We are the regional affiliate of the national Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute. Bill Cellini and Marvin Traylor carry out the public works effort from Springfield, Illinois. Our marketing program is conducted out of the metro-Chicago office, run by Marty McIntyre.

The members of PCI-IL & WI provide a variety of precast building solutions for the construction market - including structural and architectural elements for commercial, industrial, transportation, housing and specialized applications. We also have many associate and affiliate members listed in the directory link above. These associates produce a variety of concrete - industry related products. The affiliate members listed provide non - concrete related services and products.

As an association, we offer many services to the architecture, engineering and design community, including:

Boxed lunch presentations on a variety of precast topics
Institute publications, seminars and events
Tours of PCI-IL & WI member company production plants
